A ll these cars are super competitive with one another once you hit the $62,000 to $68,000 range. Crazy that Kia is charging at least a 10% premium on their badge (they aren’t wrong to though) . Love the RJ, would buy once my box tops check comes in.
Sad that this is the deadest segment in the US. I love full size premium sedans, new or u sed.

I think this segment only still lives in China, as big sedans has already been a dead segment for a while in Europe too.

Wait, the RLX is almost 70k expensive??? It’s so....Accord-ish :|

That’s what I was thinking it just doesn’t look like it belongs

I’ll put the S90>Continental. Did you see some reviews are out for the K900 already? Looks like an excellent car for the class . It’s quite heavy but performs much better than the older one. it’s absolutely loaded to the gills though.

I would get the Lincoln.

Im sticking with Hyundai/Kia for my next car. If its not a G70 or Stinger its going to be a K900 or G90. They are too good to ignore.

Ok but the Continental has those awesome door handles.
![]() 10/11/2018 at 11:54 |

Those things hold their value like precious metal in the used market as well- The Sport Hybrid SH-AWD ones. I guess people just value a very expensive reliable Honda Accord with All wheel drive.

What door handles?
![]() 10/11/2018 at 11:57 |

I l ike understated luxury cars but the RLX is not even that. Why would you buy it? Am I missing something here?

CT6, Continantal,
and S90 (and G90)
over K900 all day every day. But yeah TLX at the bottom.

I dont get these people...

Exactly

They look dumb as hell irl.

Continental > S90
Delete this

Trick door handles should not add aerodynamic drag!
![]() 10/11/2018 at 12:02 |

Yeah, no.
S90 and CT6>all that other trash.

I’m a big fan of the Continental IRL. It looks stately like the CT6.

or should they?

Kind of like people who buy ES350s and tell them selves they are special. I know a guy who has owned 4 of them since the early 90s and he is convinced that they are the best thing ever.

I think it looks like a half-assed attempt to look like an Audi/Jag hybrid. All of the new Lincoln’s look bad imo tho.
Those door handles are a neat idea, but the reality of the required ergonomics mean that they stick out way too far and look terribad.
![]() 10/11/2018 at 12:08 |

They should not! Too many young interns from second and third-rate engineering schools die in wind tunnels every year to have aerodynamic door handles!
![]() 10/11/2018 at 12:10 |

The highest that I could spec the ES350 was $ 50k:
Thats acceptable to me over an Avalon. $ 70k is just waaaay too much.
![]() 10/11/2018 at 12:22 |
|
But the ES is a Camry not an Avalon
![]() 10/11/2018 at 12:34 |
|
Even then its a $15k premium and not $35k over an Accord.

I like the Volvo’s steering wheel the best. The rest are way too obviously tarted up wheels from lesser cars. This is a big thing to me since it’s the thing in your car you use the most. I really wish (GM in particular) wouldn’t cheap out on using the same wheel across the board. It bothers me a lot. The wheel in BMW M-sport models or the S4 (even the C400) are my jam:
![]() 10/11/2018 at 12:56 |

Those aren’t door handles those are support beams for the elderly that drive them.

Weirdo center stack and steering wheel in the K9. Also “charging” and “ selling” will probably be different worlds for the car. Low mileage CPO S/7er/A8 beats em all.

Actually didn’t know that the k900, s90 and RLX existed . So thanks!
![]() 10/11/2018 at 14:02 |

The real crime here is placing the CT6 second. Quite a high position for a car that doesn’t put much effort into making customers want to like it.
![]() 10/11/2018 at 21:19 |

From 2012 onwards, it’s more related to the Avalon than the Camry.

Huh weird

I want the Conti just for the trick seats and door handles. I wish they went the extra mile on the styling—aside from the almost-there exterior style, the centre console is also a bit generic for the price, especially the A/C outlets.
The RLX was a guilty pleasure for me back in around 2013 when it had the refined
shield grille
. Now they’ve just completely ruined it for the sake of the ridiculous pizza badge and the current mandated grille.
